We know that the Stylus Photo 1400 is a classic printer for digital photography enthusiasts, giving stunningly beautiful image quality using PermaJet XL Dye ink optimised 5760 x 1440 dpi, in fact an attractive choice for amateur photographers and business users with general colour printing needs as well.
In terms of usage it could not be easier as with the Stylus Photo 1400 you can simply connect a PictBridge-enabled camera to the printer with a USB cable, a print menu will be displayed on the camera's LCD monitor, enabling you to select the size, number, and type of prints you want.
PermaJet have found in their testing that although the Stylus Photo 1400 and the Stylus Photo 1290 are both 6-colour printers with A3+ size paper handling, the Stylus Photo 1400 offers significant performance advantages. The PermaJet 1400 XL Dye ink offers a far superior fade-resistance and the improved print head assures smoother gradations.
