Fotonic Colour Inkset - High Colour gamut Dye Based Ink
Lyson was one of the very first manufacturers to bring to the market in the late '90's a dye-based ink with a relatively good longevity, whilst at that time there was hardly any other ink on the market with any reasonable longevity at all.
Fotonic is a dye-based ink. It's longevity is not as good as the most recent developed Pigment Inks from Lyson like the Photochrome inks, however, the colour gamut is a lot higher compared with Pigment Inks particularly on Fine Art Papers. When the ultimate Colour Gamut needs to be achieved and longevity is less of an issue, then the Fotonic Inks are going to be the best choice.

Fotonic XG is compatible with a wide range of media brands and produces fantastic results with all Lyson professional media. Its fade-resistant for up to 20 years indoor display when recommended display conditions are followed.
