What is the aim of colour management?
1.     Getting the maximum possible colour gamut out of an inkjet printer.

2.     A greyscale should print as neutral grey as possible.
3.     Transitions should be smooth without any stepping

4.     Making colours and densities predictable: In other words: getting accurate and reliable colours from screen to print.
5.     Being able to reproduce the colours of an object, pricture or painting which is most important for Fine Art reproduction!
6.     With the use of Rip software we will be able to simulate other prining devices including printing press as well!
7.     Getting acceptable colour prints for any viewing condition.
